Behind the Scenes

Thank you for your interest in the Free Yoga Space!

We function as a yoga studio that provides free, fun, safe, and high quality yoga classes for everyone. Inclusivity and universality is our spirit. We want to give people access to the health, beauty, wonder, and inspirational benefits of yoga no matter their background. We are foundationally free, and people can contribute to us financially if they want to support our work and objectives.

The objective of this Free Yoga Space is also to provide a framework and example for other Free Yoga Space branches to be opened in many different cities in Europe and the world.

We envision a world where giving and receiving can be an open-hearted, cooperative, and loving process based on desire. This is in contrast to the existing status quo of functioning under scarcity, competition, and fear.

If you are a teacher:

As a teacher at Free Yoga Space, you need to be willing to give classes also with this intention and objective, to have a desire to share your passion and inspiration through yoga without charging any cost.

You can give classes in our studio for free, and you can also chose to support our work by contributing to us a percentage of your earnings from the donations that you may receive from your students. But the amount that you contribute is up to you, and the amount that you receive from donations is also unknown, since it will depend each time on what your students decide to give.

The condition to teaching under the Free Yoga Space philosophy is that you teach for free, while welcoming donations that students may chose to give.
